PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk., through its "Sari Roti Peduli" CSR program, has provided assistance to the communities affected by the natural disaster of the Mount Marapi eruption in West Sumatra.

On December 6, 2023, the Company directly delivered Sari Roti products aid through the Companion Post located in the Batu Palano area, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. The aid products were received by representatives from disaster management agencies, including the West Sumatra Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and the Community.

"We express our gratitude to the Company for providing bread; this means a lot to our colleagues who have been involved during the evacuation at the Mount Marapi site," said Ade Alfani, Head of the Disaster Management Department of PMI in Agam Regency, West Sumatra.

Through these efforts, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk. hopes to assist the personnel, volunteers, and alleviate the burden of the communities affected by the eruption disaster. "Sari Roti Cares CSR is a manifestation of the Company's commitment to helping others," said David Chandra, Branch Manager Operations (BMO) of the Medan Factory while preparing the aid distribution.
